Orientation activities

According to the guidelines established in P03 ‘Welcoming Procedure, Tutoring and Support for student training, our Faculty carries out some specific actions and activities for guidance and support for our new students. These actions aim at providing relevant information about the Faculty organization, its resources and services, and about the curricula of the eight degrees that are taught. It also seeks to facilitate the incorporation and integration of the student in the university world and encourage their participation in the university life.

WELCOME MEETING. At this meeting, the Faculty’s Managing Board will introduce the internal organization and some of the most interesting issues to the students are clarified, such as those referring to the double degrees, the schedules, the languages certification, regulations of interest for students, etc. Moreover, other academic and management positions will participate. Likewise, some of the resources and services offered by our Faculty are presented, such as the Tutorial Action Project, Mobility Programs, our Library, etc.

STUDENT’S ATTENTION OFFICE. This office, managed directly from the Deanship, offers individualized attention to students on academic issues, from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 12:00 h.

ATTENTION AND SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. Our Faculty, in collaboration with the Psychological and Educational Psychological Attention Service (Servicio de Atención Psicológica y Psicopedagógica SAP) and the Disability Care Service (Servicio de Atención a la Discapacidad SAD), seeks the inclusion of these students in university life through an information and support programme that begins from their incorporation to the Faculty and extends throughout their university degree.
