ORGANISATION AND ACADEMIC STRUCTURE OF THE DEGREE

 

The Master’s Degree in Heritage, Archaeology and Maritime History offers knowledge that provides a basis for the development of ideas and projects in the field of heritage management, archaeology and maritime history. The subjects of which it is composed provide knowledge that allows the resolution of problems in new environments within interdisciplinary contexts.

 

The contents of the Master are structured in a Common Module (16 credits), within which students have a total of 4 subjects, one of them being optional, a second Specific Module (26 credits), being able to choose between a total of 3 itineraries (Archaeology in the geo-historical region of the Strait of Gibraltar, Management of the Heritage of Lower Andalusia and Maritime History of Lower Andalusia) and a third Application Module (6 credits), where it is possible to opt for professional orientation (Research Seminar) or internships in companies or public institutions (Practicum in companies). Finally, students will have to carry out a Master’s Thesis (12 credits).
