Degree in Arabic and Islamic studies – Teaching planning – Number of credits

The total number of ECTS credits is 240, which includes all the theoretical and practical training activities (basic aspects of the branch of knowledge, compulsory and optional subjects, seminars, external internships, directed work, exams, End-of-Degree Project, and other training activities). The total 240 ECTS are distributed in four academic years (60 credits per course). The number of hours per ECTS is 25.

As detailed in chapter 5 of this report, the student can enroll full-time or part-time:

  • A full-time student must enroll, in general, 60 credits per course, but may attain up to 78 credits, according to the procedure established for that purpose.
  • According to the general regulations for all the Degrees offered at the University of Cádiz, the minimum number of enrollment credits for this Degree is 15, however it is recommended that part-time students study between 24 and 36 credits per year.
